Local artist Laura Bruzzese is partnering with the Mercy Health Foundation to offer a series of beautiful raku pottery urns to benefit Hospice of Mercy. Ms. Bruzzese synthesizes traditional elements of landscape, botanical painting and traditional forms in a contemporary way to create her art.
The New Mexico landscape, the desert palatte, and her garden all inspire the imagery. Because of the unpredictability and challenges of the raku process, each piece is uniquely different. This beautiful art form results in a wonderful and honoring final resting place for loved ones. Ms. Bruzzese is offering three different motifs ranging in price from $425 to $475. Proceeds benefit Hospice of Mercy.
